The Brief

To install fast growing, high climbing screening plants without putting in a traditional hedge.

Solution & Approach

To plant an extraordinarily fast climber to grow up the wire balustrade. The climber chosen for this project is called 'Muehlenbeckia Axillaris'.

Aluminium fence posts were concreted in at 1800mm high. Marine grade wire was then inserted through the posts and fastened.

If you are looking for a fast growing screening plant this is the one to use. It grows well in full sun to part shade. This type of solution for a screen works well in tight access areas such as down the side of the house where you have limited access to garden beds.
